How we estimate time saved

Writing up a meeting by hand takes about 10 minutes for a typical meeting. Sprig does that part automatically, but you still spend about 1 minute reading and checking the note, so the saving is not the full ten.

That leaves about 9 minutes. We publish 8 minutes per meeting, rounding down because we would rather the estimate be a little low than generous.

The weekly figure is the meeting count supplied during onboarding multiplied by 8 minutes. Five meetings a week is about 40 minutes. We do not scale by meeting duration because we have no evidence for that factor.

It is an estimate and is not measured from Sprig usage. It documents our published reasoning, not independent research. If we measure it properly later, we will update this page and state when it changed.
